will the south beach diet work for me after doing lots of fad diets?

for the last 2 months i did all kinds of fad diets and lost 30 pounds, and i exercise for an hour every day on a exercise bike. but now if i eat more than 800 calories i gain Weight.
if i do the south beach diet will it fix my metabolism? and will i be able to lose weight with it?

Okay, I really want to lose weight. i don’t look fat, but i don’t feel healthy either. my thighs and stomach are the worst. i weight 130 pounds and i am 5′6. ever since i met my friend who was really overweight, i’ve been gaining weight because i was constantly at her house, and all she did was eat. now she moved nnd we don’t hang out anymore, but i have bad habits, and i gained a LOT of weight and i REALLY want to lose it again. Does anyone have any good tips for a diet and some good exercises?? Any really good exercises to lose belly fat and make my thighs thinner??? Also, are there any suggestions for a faster metabolism??

I would like to lose at least 30pounds over the summer for high school because i am 5′3 175 pounds and im 14 years old. I would like tips for weight loss, metabolism speed increase. Good exercises for weight loss and a good diet plan i was wondering if going semi vegetarian and eating only baked chicken for protein or going full vegetarian and having protein shakes would be better.

I am 22 and over the past few months I have been dealing with a great deal of stress. In the past 3 months I have gained 25 lbs. I am very short compared to the average women so any weight gain is huge on me. I have tried the NV diet for women and it only made my heart beat uncontrollable. I have tried the weight watcher’s program but the closest one to me know is over 3 hours away. I tried system 6 but now I can’t even find it anymore and that is normal since it worked really well. Right now I am trying to see if there is a diet pill that would work better for me since now I am under a lot more stress. Plus the women in my family tend to have a much slower metabolism after the age 21 so now I am there and need to find something to help in that area too. I am currently looking at SlimQuick or Orovo diet. What diets have any women used that are aimed at the reasons women gain weight and worked. I also do exercise for 30 mins cardio and 30 mins strength training. Thanks!!

last year i went just about anorexic and was talking in about 400 -600 calories a day for quite a while..i lost about 25 pounds, and then i started eating healthy, meaning 1200-1500 calories a day spread out over 5 meals. a few months later, i started gaining back weight cause i started taking in a lot more calories than my body needs. i became panicked and then tried to lower my calorie intake back to 400 a day. i couldnt put up with that again, so now im back on the 1200 calorie a day diet (which, i should mentioned, was still making me lose weight the first time i went back to it). my question is, if my metabolism still allowed me to lose weight on 1200 the first time after my anorexic period, am i still able to take in 1200 calories and lose weight or was my severe suppression of calories the second time around the final straw? basically, am i gonna gain weight?

can fad diets help you lose weight? if they do , do u know any good ones? how much can u lose?

do they damage/slow down ur metabolism?
does it help u if after a fad diet u immediately start eating healthy to keep it off..is tht ok?
