Do you think there is a correlation between postpartum hair loss and weight loss?

I had a baby 4.5 months ago and am exclusively breastfeeding. Just recently my hair began to fall out big time and my weight has also been coming off more easily. I realize that the hair loss is normal, but I’m wondering if there is a correlation between the two. Perhaps the hair loss signals that the pregnancy hormones are out of our system which in turn lets our bodies know that we don’t need the weight anymore. What do you think?

Okay… for some history I had my daughter 9 months ago. I was on bed rest for 2.5 months before she was born, and had a c section, so that more resting and taking it easy. As a result, I have a LOT (about 70 lbs) of weight to lose. I have a treadmill now… so I’m open for workout plans. I’m just looking for a diet plan or workout plan to follow. Also, any tips that helped others lose weight, and keep it off. I’m not looking for a quick fix, but a life change. Now that I have this beautiful baby girl, I want to be in great shape to keep up with her!!!!!!

I am 16 years old, have asthma, and am very much over weight. I wouldnt be that large if it werent for my sides i have looked and looked and i cant find anything to help the exact part that i need to lose weight in. I need help. Plz. Also i dont have much money so i would rather do a certain type of exercise than buy expensive online weight loss foods. I have been eating healthy for almost 5 months now.

I have tried to lose weight for 5 months and so far I have only lost 8 pounds. Sometimes more and sometimes less, it is very inconsistant. I don’t eat a lot and I excersize 5-6 times a week. I need something else. Please tell me of a good diet pill!

I am 5′9 and weight 118, and am looking to weigh 114. 34,24,36 are my measurements… or really am trying to get my hips down to a 34 in one month, i model so that is why i must be so small. what are some diet tricks to lose that body fat on my thass (thigh ass) or even a work out routine that can help me. i have been at a 34 before but gained it back 5 months later from bad eating habits, and i need to get back down again, but it seams so much harder. i do eat, i will never consider being anorexic/bulimic, and i enjoy working out. thank you.

I have a new puppy and the Vet game me a free sample of Science Diet puppy. He’s a GSD and is 41 lbs at about 5 months. I’ve seen Science Diet Puppy Large Breed as well. Is there a significant difference between the two or is it just marketing?

ok, i’m tired of doing fad diets. I have lost so much muscle and very little fat as a result. So i’ve decided to spend my summer working out and getting in shape. i’m currently 154 pounds and 5′3′ i do have a quite a bit of muscle. i want to weigh 124 which means i need to lose about 30 pounds. i want to get in shape before school starts. which is in 2.5 months.

i’ve decided to eat 6 small meals.
No soda
candy and sweets at a minimum.
avoid junk food as much as possible
eat mostly fruits, vegetables, lean meats
eat healthier carbs (ie brown rice instead of white.)

I also plan on working out for an hour and a half each day. for 6 days a week.
I will do tae bo 4 days. jog the 5th day and lift weights the 6th day.
is it possible to lose 30 pounds by September or at least 20 pounds?

i will also drink A LOT of water.
is it possible? and if not, what else can i do?

How fast can you lose weight by walking 100 meters everyday?

Walking at a certain speed wherein I feel muscle "strain" (I can feel the burn!) is very healthy for me, I know. But I want to know how fast I can lose weight by doing this daily and eating a healthy diet full of a balanced amount of pasta, vegetables, meat, and water.
Can I lose five-ten pounds in 5 months or so? Or how long, and how many pounds?

Does water help you lose weight?
