Some great easy diet tips please?

Does anyone have some tips for diet and exercising??? (I’m a vegetarian too, just to let you know)

    try drinking less pop or fruit juice (both very high in calories) snack whenever you feel hungry but only have small snacks that are good for you (ie, a piece of fruit, a couple whole wheat crackers with cheese) eat smaller portions but eat whenever you are hungry. eat more veggies. if you normally drink one 20 oz pop a day you could lose up to 25 lbs a year just by replacing that with water. i also heard that you are only suppose to eat until you are 8/10 of the way full because the rest of the food isnt processed yet so by the time you feel truely full you have already eaten too much

    Take stairs instead of elevator, dont eat high calorie desserts, walk places instead of taking a bus, run 30 minutes or so every other day and just watch how much you eat. cutting back calories and exercising more is the only way to lose weight

    Stop drinking sugury drinks only drink water
    Start walking and build up to running (like I did)
    Eat only 3 meals a day and if you eat a snack eat only half of what you would regulary eat

    forone stay away from sodas and candy and chips, just any sugary or high sodium foods. as a vegetarian you will have a harder time gettign in shape if thats what your going for, but just find a place that sell protien shakes and you should be able to work harder every time.

    1) Eat more steam food, lean meat, lean protein, vegies and fruits

    2) Cut out the junk food, soda drinks and snacks. Get rid of the junk food from the cupboards! Eat cashew / almond nuts instead.

    3) drink plenty of water / green tea

    4) Exercise – look at combining weights and cardio into your program. you can look at alternating upper and lower body exercises without rest, say bicep curls, then lunges , rest and repeat. With cardio, try sprinting 100m, jog 100m and repeat.

    5) Have 5-6 healthy meals a day(1 plate portions) to keep your body satisfied

    7) have an action plan for long term goals, start off with small goals and increase it gradually over time. And you will see in your size drop.

    8) form a support group. Make yourself accountable to someone like your parents/relatives/friends/partners. Best yet, get them to participate in a healthy lifestyle.
