Not only is it okay, it is preferable to the plain old boring white rice that most people seem to like. Brown rice is whole grain and much better for you. Just watch your servings size

Yes, it is a great meal choice. But maybe take it down a bit. That ’s a lot of rice.. to many carbs even though it is brown rice..

YES

Yes. Brown rice is a whole grain, and whole grains are good for you. Obviously, don’t eat so much that you’re consuming tons of calories, because this would negate the idea of a diet.

Yes, brown rice is very healthy!

Absolutely! Infact, it’s great that you prefer this healthier option to polished rice (which provides zilch nutrients in comparison).
Although, too much isn’t good either as it will exceed your daily carb. requirement. Continue with the combination as you’ve mentioned above and control your portions as per your body’s requirement. Also, brown rice or not, it’s best avoided at dinner time, so stick to it at lunch time.
Here’s a site I discovered on my own weight – loss regime : http://www.zacking.com, check it out. It’s a brilliant site for anyone who’s dieting or just looking to keep a check on their daily dietary schedule.

Yes it is. Don’t take it down either. You are fine eating it every day for a meal. Brown rice is good to eat even when not dieting. It works through your system properly, unlike white rice.
Most people don’t have a clue as to how important carbs are in your life. Too little carbs and you risk your body not functioning properly and you risk not losing as much weight as you can due to it’s malfunctioning.
Trust me. If people had much of a clue on how the body works, we wouldn’t have an obesity problem in this country. Even for people who are thin today, starving their body of much needed foods, they will become obese later for it. You can’t live unhealthy for a year and not expect a weight problem to arise!
Carbs are extremely important. You should have a carb with each and every meal. Carbs go through your system and gives you energy and nourishes your body as well.
Many who stopped eating carbs ended up sick. Says something, doesnt’ it?
Brown rice is a great choice, a healthy one! Try not to eat more than a half or one cup at a sitting though.
