I usually eat out but I need to loose weight, I need an effective weight loss diet?

I am a student and I basically live on fast food … I desperately need to lose weight, lots of it. I try to count the calories but so far no success. Has anybody have a good diet to suggest? has any one tried Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers ? do they really work?

I find that drinking water helps a lot in shedding weight. It isn’t so much the water but the lack of sugar that’s in drinks that does it.
I also walk whenever I can. Walking is very good for losing weight, so is eating less,.. Try it.

LET me frankly speak; There are persons who reduce the quantity of food in order to reduce the weight but failed repeat failed. And I know a man who usually takes two lunches (i mean the quantity that is when he eats in hotels he used to get two tokens and pay for it and eat two full meals) He was and he is and perhaps he will be slim.

There are people who avoid three eatings per day and say that they are in fasting, in diet and to reduce weight. But I am sorry no desired result. The weight of the body depends upon the body nature also repeat also.

Go for a regular walk and slowly increase the speed and distance week by week.Don’t waste your energy in exercise also. You try a simple work that is you put water glass or tumbler on a ground don’t keep it on the table or anyother places about waist high. You put this always on the ground and whenever you want to drink you take it from the ground. What I mean is you have to bend your body to that much level which is difficult for fat people and needs spending lot of calories.similarly keeping the pen on the ground and everytime taking it from the ground and so many other things it may be difficult but once you start it it will give you the desired result not immeadiately but month after month

I have tried both and I am currently on WW. If you have the money for Jenny it is good for a quick start to any program but really expensive. With WW it is real food you just have a point system. My BF is not on WW but since I have been cooking healthy it has helped both of us and he loves the food.

Food usually don’t speed up weight loss. Certain food which don’t contribute to formation of fats in your body may results in burning of more fats. However, if you eat such food, you’ll need certain diet pills like phentramin-d to take care of your metabolism. Unless you have a high metabolism food can’t help, http://www.phentermine-forums.com/phentramin-d/

hey… janet here.. hopefully my own personally story can be of some guidance/help to you..

I’m 5′8 and at the time I was about 220 lbs.. and was trying real hard to lose weight for almost 8 months… i just had a baby girl at the time.. and during my pregnancy i gained a tonnnn of weight and much of it stuck with me after she was born, and the hubby began getting on my case and bothering me non stop about my new weight problem… so after a few months of that, it really started getting to me, plus summer was about to get here- and i love the beach! So i decided to try and do something about it…

ive since tried almost every diet system out there… the standard eat less-exercise more change lifestyle diet, south beach, atkins, slimfast, acai berry, weight watchers, etc… I also tried taking many different weight loss supplements.. and overall nothing has really worked well for me…. But i came across this diet program >> http://www.fatloss.pcti-system.com .. which a couple of my girlfriends put me onto, and it worked amazing for me like nothing else has.

Right now I’m only 180 lbs.. I’m still overweight but I’ve already lost 40 pounds and I’m well on my way to my goal of 160 lbs.. I hope i was of some help.. I wish you all the best of luck!

Weight loss is a tricky topic. Lots of people are unhappy with their present weight, but most aren’t sure how to change it – and many would be better off staying where they are. You may want to look like the models or actors in magazines and on TV, but those goals might not be healthy or realistic for you. Besides, no magical diet or pill will make you look like someone else.

So what should you do about weight control?

Hope this can help u. :)

  16. Dr.Stella Says:

When we think about losing weight we usually think about a deprivation diet where we reduce our food intake in the hope our body will use up its fat stores. But unfortunately this type of diet usually backfires because 1) such diets are almost impossible to maintain, and 2) they lower the metabolism which is the rate your body burns fuel (calories). Diets also tend to work against the very strength and fitness improvements we wish to make.

When we exercise properly we need our eating plan to support the extra activity we will be doing not working against it. We need to be able to put some effort into our exercise program to be able to make the metabolic changes to our body and fat burning mechanism to be able to lose weight in the long term.

The opposite of dieting is needed and the quality of food needs to increase along with a better balance of the macro nutrient (protein, carbohydrate and fats) ratio of each meal.
Small frequent meals are needed to keep metabolism high and to curb cravings.

Our knowledge over the last couple of decades has increased about weight loss and we now realize it is not the simple "calories in, calories out" equation that we used to think it was. We now take into account the hormonal aspect of the body and understand how this effects whether our body either burns fat or stores fat.

The hormones that can help weight loss are only stimulated when the muscular system of the body is challenged with activity. Hormones are released in response to the stress of physical activity and we welcome their input as they lead to a higher metabolic rate. This means we burn more calories all day and night even when we are sleeping or resting. But we need our muscles to be in good condition and be firm and toned to do this.

The only type of exercise that will get your muscles in better fat burning order is strength training exercise. Long, slow endurance type of activities that we used to believe were necessary to burn fat will never give you a strong, lean, slim body no matter how much of them you do. They only burn calories when you are actually doing them and do not increase the metabolic rate for the long term. Only by working your muscles with proper exercise can you do this and this is the key to long term weight loss.

To be able to put some effort into this type of program means you need tons of energy which is the opposite of what deprivation dieting does. High quality nutrition will give you the horsepower to do justice to your training. People who are strong have lower levels of cortisol which is a stress hormone that can trigger binges and overeating and cause your body to store fat more readily. They also have higher levels of growth hormone which will help you tone up your muscles and increase your metabolism.

So, if you want to lose weight don’t be tempted to try and diet your way out of the extra pounds, stop and consider a fitness based alternative such a proper strength training along with plenty of high quality food as a more effective and sustainable weight loss solution.
