well, first of all u should understand that u cant lose that much weight in a month and its very unhealthy for you. you are 16 and 200 lbs, you need to go down to 150 which wouldnt be very hard. Start making healthy choices like, instead of regular soda, drink diet soda (saves u 150 calories), instead of juices, eat fruits (saves u like 50 calories), instead of eating regular chips, eat baked ones. Drink lots of water as it keeps u full and hydrated but if u r like me, who doesnt like to go to the bathroom every half hour, drink only like 5 glasses which isnt bad..always keep a water bottle with you, that way u;ll drink more water and it will kinda keep u motivated =) these are very small changes in ur diet by which u can lose plentttttyyyy of weight. oh and Exercise!! it is very important for you to exercise, it will boost ur metabolism which means that you will be able to lose more weight in less time. you dont have to work out everyday..u can workout only 3 times a week because ur just starting. u can walk, jog, cycle, swim, whatever u like the best..but u dont necessarily have to do these..u can play WII!!! yay! haha i just bought Dance Dance Revolution for wii, and its a good workout if you dont like to walk or jog or swim..but u have to play it for an hour or so on difficult level to burn a lot of calories..To keep urself motivated, you should exercise and buy one or 2 shirts which are a little smaller than ur size, and hang them on the wall or something..so whenever u feel like giving up, always look at them and think that if you give up, u wont be able to wear those cute shirts..but if you keep going, u’ll fit in those in no time..and that would be an Awesome feeling =) so yeah im also trying to lose 30 lbs..if you need any help, u can email me at sara.akhtar@ymail.com
have fun and good luck!!!

You really need to at least change your diet. Start eating healthier, fresh fruits and vegetables instead of pizza. If you want chips, buy the baked ones or get wheat thins. When you’re hungry, eat, just watch the sugar and carb intake. Especially eat breakfast. And you need to do at least some exercise. Walk the dog or go to the park. Joining a gym and going there for at least half an hour in the morning really sets off your whole day to eat healthier and do healthier things. Whole wheat bread is better for you as well. It’s not so much stopping eating unless you have an oral fixation where you eat when you aren’t hungry just because you want to taste something good. The main thing is making better decisions when you do eat and getting outside and being active.

Okay. I TOTALLY know what you mean.
The most important thing for me–not for everyone–is "everything in moderation." I know that phrase is overused so much that it loses meaning, but I’m serious. All of those fake diets make you feel horrible about splurging, but it’s okay. If you eat a piece of cake, don’t feel bad, just have fruit or yogurt for your next snack/meal. If you have a heaping helping of pasta for lunch, eat meat and some veggies for dinner. Stuff like that.
Another thing is water. Not only is it necessary for your body, it helps wash out all the bad carbs and unnecessary sugars and such from your body, so you don’t gain weight that way. Water is your friend.
Exercise whenever you can, which for most people, actually isn’t that much–maybe 2-3 times a week, but at least it’s better than nothing, right?
Hope I helped.

You should do the fat burning program known as "Fat X". The how to videos are on the Fat X 101 blog. http://www.FatX101.com

Take a walk before dinner. You’ll do more than burn calories — you’ll cut your appetite. In a study of 10 obese women conducted at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, 20 minutes of walking reduced appetite and increased sensations of fullness as effectively as a light meal.

Pack nutritious snacks. Snacking once or twice a day helps stave off hunger and keeps your metabolism stoked, but healthy snacks can be pretty darn hard to come by when you’re on the go. Pack up baby carrots or your own trail mix made with nuts, raisins, seeds, and dried fruit.

Hi!
I have found a great blog with a story of a woman who lost weight in a healthy and easy way. It was an eye-opener for me. I’ve tried it and I must admit that the results amazed me. I lost more than 30 pounds so far and I feel better than ever.
So, what is this diet about? Well, it teaches you how to stay healthy while losing weight. It is so easy when you know how to do it, and in a long run it shows much better results, because after other diets I’ve tried before you just get that fat back. The thing is, you have to eat a few times a day, not starve. Because when you are not eating, your body stores fat and it is much harder to lose weight. When you eat, and you know what and when and how, your body will know that there is food around so it won’t store fat – it will burn it!
Here are some hints from Betty’s blog:
1.The diet creates meal plans and recipes just for you.
2.You are able to eat a few times a day, which means that you are not starving yourself!
3.The diet is based upon calorie shifting and shows you what you are doing wrong. Betty Winter in her blog explains it all.
4.What is most important, you are able to buy all the food in a local store. There is no need for some expensive fancy food that promises miracles, but does nothing at all.
5.It teaches you how to lose bad eating.
As I told you, this diet is an eye-opener and it works. With the proper guidance all the way through the diet, it is so easy and you can do it too. It can all be found online, as Betty describes.
So, if you wish to learn more about this easy healthy diet check the blog, it’s in my source. Good luck!

Get most of your calories before noon. Studies find that the more you eat in the morning, the less you’ll eat in the evening. And you have more opportunities to burn off those early-day calories than you do to burn off dinner calories.

I found this on this website. There are more tips and info.
1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.
2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.
3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.
4. Don’t weigh yourself more than once a week
5. Take starting measurements as well as weight – sometimes you’ll lose inches before pounds
6. Avoid any type of "low carb" sweetener for the first two weeks
7. Don’t compare your loss to someone else’s – this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)
8. Stalls are common around the third week so don’t panic
9. If you follow your plan to the T and don’t lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese, mushrooms and any other fermented food
10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison
11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts – make sure your doctor knows that you’re doing low carb and when you started
12. Don’t blame the diet if you don’t read your plan book — blame the diet if you don’t read the labels — Don’t blame the diet if you don’t follow the diet

No matter how you slice it, diet is a dirty word. It smacks of deprivation and hunger pangs. To overcome the pain, you need a plan.
