Does anyone have any helpful diet tips?
Looking for suggestions in your weightloss journeys that have helped you.Exercises, ways to prepare foods, foods that are low cal.Anything that made dieting easier. My favorite one is taking pudding cups and freezing over night and the next day the taste like ice cream or pudding pops…i was never satisfied with pudding for a snack cuz it would be eaten in a couple minutes..now it takes me about 15-20 minutes and it tricks me into thinking im eating a bigger treat.

I think it has a lot to do with healthy attitude towards life, food and exercise.
Food: Glycemic Index and PGX (check out the source links for more info.)
Both are inventions from the professors in the University of Toronto.
Glycemic Index(GI) It’s important to know what you are eating and how it works once it enters your body. what food makes its way into fat storage and what food create blood clogging cholesterol.
PGX is recently available commercially. It was initially developed to stabilizes blood sugar and lowers cholesterolIt but had the happy ’side effect’ of weight loss-very effectively &safely.
Exercise: weight lifting vs. aerobic. depend on what’s your body type at current stage. It’s always good to get the right balance for your particular need at your particular level of fitness.
Life: stay happy and active. have positive attitude.
You shouldn’t lose more than 1.5lbs a week, unsupervised rapid weight lose is dangerous, and create sagging skin.
Most importantly, Try to keep the weight down, Yo-Yo diet is extremely unhealthy and damaging for your morale.

Small Ways to Lose a Big Belly
1. Fried foods are garbage. Potato chips, French fries and onion rings are pregnant with saturated fat and calories, yet they contain zero healthy or muscle-promoting nutrients. If you’re on a fat-loss plan, simply eliminate fried foods. That alone will allow you to shed lard quickly
2. Drink a glass of skim milk as soon as you wake up. Some quick protein before you even step into the shower will energize you and end those morning cravings for Egg McMuffins and pastry.
3. Do 2 minutes of pushups every morning. It’s tough to exercise as soon as you roll out of bed, but you can burn off 21 calories a day–2 1/2 pounds in a year.
4. Toss a quart of water in your briefcase. Water helps you burn calories–96 calories just by carrying a bottle while you walk for 20 minutes. Serve it over ice in your office and your body will burn 31 calories warming it to 98.6. Then there’s the aerobic effect of all those bathroom runs.
5. Want to look better naked? Try drinking half as much alcohol. Alcohol contains calories. You may drink like a fish, but booze isn’t water. Even a light beer has more than 100 calories. Booze makes you store fat. Your body sees alcohol as a poison, and tries desperately to get rid of it. Your liver stops processing all other calories until it has dealt with the alcohol. So anything else you eat during the time you’re drinking is more likely to end up as fat. Alcohol also lowers testosterone. With more abdominal fat, testosterone drops.

I have found that eating what I like before 12pm and then gradually cutting down in the afternoon worked for me. After 5pm do not eat any carbs or any other usual naughties, instead eat soup, veg, fruit or sorbet. Becuase your body has most of the day to use up the calories you ate in the morning you are not going to bed with a heavy tummy. Give it a week – good luck!

I had trouble with snacking at night, so I just put on crest white strips when i got a craving. My teeth got whiter, and by the time I had to take them off, I was ready for bed and my cravings were gone.
