Do you have diet tips?

I need diet tips for an 63 year old man. What kinda food is good? Which sports are good?I need every information I can get, thank you!

    I keep a diary of my intake EVERY day. When you see in black and white what you actually eat you may be surprised. The diary keeps me accountable. No one sees it but me. There are a lot of free online diary logs that calculate calories and nutrients for you.

    Other tips:
    portion control!!!!! I keep a digital scale handy and weight or measure most of my food. {that does get easier, because I can eyeball a lot of my food now}

    Exercise, walk around your neighborhood every day. The Y that I belong to has some great senior classes and equipment. Some of the seniors put the "he-men" to shame!

    ummm yoga pilates jogging. cycling is good for older people.

    Hmmm….well less salt and sugar intake would be good for your age.
